Company Overview
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Wuxi, China, Wuxi Innosonics Medical Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to ultrasonic transducer technology, bringing together in-house R&D, custom design and smart manufacturing under one roof.
We operate a fully integrated industrial ecosystem, housing proprietary production facilities for advanced piezoelectric materials and automated manufacturing workshops for ultrasonic transducers. This vertical integration enables us to independently develop and manufacture every link of the supply chain, starting from raw piezoelectric materials all the way to finished transducer assemblies.
Our comprehensive product lineup spans core ultrasonic components for diverse applications: interventional ultrasound catheters (ICE), diagnostic ultrasound probes, ultrasonic surgical horn boosters, therapeutic ultrasound transducers, and SONAR transducers. We also mass-produce high-performance piezoelectric ceramics, single crystals, and piezoelectric composite substrates in-house. Drawing on our full-spectrum capabilities, we deliver turnkey ultrasonic acoustic solutions for medical devices, industrial non-destructive testing, underwater acoustics and other vertical markets.
Milestones
Founded as Wuxi Weiteng Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.
ICE product achieved its first successful image visualization.
Wuxi Innosonics Medical Technology Co., Ltd., was founded.
Completed angel Vaulted financing.
Signed a project cooperation agreement with the Xinwu District Government, moved into the Singapore Industrial Park, and established a dedicated ultrasound transducer facility.
Signed a project cooperation agreement with the Yandu District Government of Yancheng, moved into the Qinnan Town Industrial Park, and established a piezoelectric ceramic facility.
Signed an agreement with Peking University to jointly establish the "Interventional Ultrasound Joint Laboratory".
Selected among Wuxi 2023 “Fledgling Eagle” Enterprises.
Completed the development and delivery of 6F interventional catheter.
Won the title of Outstanding Enterprise in the 11th "Entrepreneurship Jiangsu" Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Competition.
Won the second prize in the 2023 "Taihu Cup" International Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Wuxi, China.
Completed Series A financing.
R&D Strength
Since its inception, the company has established an innovation research center, which brings together outstanding graduates from China's top universities such as the University of Science and Technology of China, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tongji University, Nanjing University, and Zhejiang University. It has carried out cooperative technical exchanges with Peking University, Central South University, and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics to provide guarantees for technological innovation.
